STR 350 - Advanced Stage Movement (Theatre)

A continuation and intensification of the actor’s work with the body as a healthy, expressive and dynamic performance instrument.  An emphasis on a movement/acting system such as Viewpoints or Laban will help the actor move from awareness and exploration to creation and command in physical and vocal character work. Required practical, historical and cultural research will inform the actor’s choices for authentic and compelling stage action.   

 Credits: 3.

 When Offered: Fall semester, odd-numbered years. 

 Prerequisites:  STR101, STR 154 , STR 254 , and STR 250 .
