SCH 106 - Foundations of Chemistry (Chemistry)3 Credit(s)
A study of the basic concepts of chemistry, designed for students in the physician assistant program. The course includes a review of matter and measurements, atomic theory and stoichiometry, with an in-depth focus on topics such as the periodic table, ionic and molecular bonding and structure, kinetics, equilibrium, gases, solutions, acids and bases, and nuclear chemistry. Fall semester. With SCH101, satisfies the Science requirement of the Liberal Arts Curriculum.
