The course provides graphic design students with an understanding of the places, people, events, and technological innovations that have influenced the development of the profession of graphic design. History of visual communication with emphasis on the development of design in the twentieth century. Fall semester. Fee. Satisfies the Global Perspectives requirement of the Liberal Arts Curriculum.
