SDA 140 - Modern Dance I (Dance)Variable (2-3) Credit(s)
This course is designed for students with some prior movement or dance experience and are ready to build on foundational skills at a more structured level. The coursework focuses on building foundational movement skills as a tool for achieving artistic expression. Muscular strength, flexibility, and development of an aesthetic appreciation for modern dance forms are explored.
When Offered: Spring semester, odd numbered years. Prerequisite(s): SDA 139 or permission from dance faculty is required.
Permission required.
Repeatable for credit. Liberal Arts Curriculum: Satisfies the Artistic Expression requirement.
