SDA 144 - Jazz I (Dance)Variable (2-3) Credit(s)
This course is designed for students with some prior movement or dance experience and are ready to build on foundational skills at a more structured level. Foundational concepts of alignment, coordination, and the vocabulary of jazz dance technique are explored. Dance styles include hip-hop, contemporary, and classical jazz.
When Offered: Spring semester. Prerequisite(s): SDA 139 or permission from dance faculty.
Permission required.
Repeatable for credit. Liberal Arts Curriculum: Satisfies the Artistic Expression requirement.
