STR 216 - Scenery Construction (Theatre)3 Credit(s)
An advanced exploration of techniques, procedures, and equipment employed in constructing the scenery of a theatrical production. Includes practical experience in creation and reading of drafting, stage and finish carpentry, metalworking and welding, theatre rigging, scenery movement and handling, concepts in structural design, and production planning and budgeting. When Offered: Fall semester, even-numbered years. Prerequisite(s): STR 108 and STR 109 , or permission of instructor. Fee.
