STR 236 - Wig and Makeup Design (Theatre)

This studio-based class focuses on wig and makeup design for the theatre. Students will work on projects such as historical makeup, zombies and non-human creatures to develop advanced makeup application skills and wig styling skills. They will also learn about proper health and hygiene practices. No experience is necessary. All supplies are covered by course fees and will be provided to students by the instructor. Content disclosure: this course will involve recreating injuries which may include fake blood.
