STR 237 - Live Event Technology (Theatre)3 Credit(s)
An advanced exploration of techniques, procedures, and equipment employed in creating and implementing the lighting, sound, and media for live events. Includes practical experience in creation and reading of drafting/plans, hands-on electrical practice, sound reinforcement, console programming, basic theatre rigging, equipment movement and handling, and concepts in live event design. When Offered: Spring semester, even-numbered years. Prerequisite(s): STR 108 and STR 109 or permission of instructor. Fee.
