This course emphasizes the RN’s role as a leader and advocate in advancing population health. Students integrate evidence-based practice, nursing knowledge, and collaboration to design and evaluate health promotion and disease prevention strategies for diverse populations locally, nationally, and globally. Key concepts include communication, health policy, advocacy, and equity to strengthen the nurse’s capacity to influence outcomes. In required Practicum Hours, students assess needs, analyze data, and implement strategies with community stakeholders. RN to BSN students only.
