SNU 471 - Quality Health Care Delivery (Nursing)

This course examines the history and evolution of safety and quality in U.S. healthcare and the government’s constitutional role in shaping policy, regulation, and access to care. Students analyze how systems thinking, quality improvement models, and interprofessional collaboration advance safe, patient-centered care. Attention is given to health disparities, implicit bias, and sociocultural factors including race, class, ethnicity, gender, and religion that influence health outcomes.
