SPT 675 - Clinical Education 4

This course is the terminal full-time clinical education course.  Students will be placed in the clinical setting(s) for a total of 15 consecutive weeks of clinical education experience in either an inpatient facility, an outpatient setting or a specialty facility. The primary purpose of this clinical experience is to allow the students to gain experience in physical therapy practice with emphasis on the clinical application and integration of the knowledge and skills learned in the DPT program. The student will also have the opportunity to participate in learning experiences unique to the clinical site such as medical rounds, surgical observation, staff meetings and in-services, practice management duties, and interdisciplinary experiences.
When Offered: Spring semester.
Prerequisite(s): SPT 661, SPT 662, SPT 663, and SPT 664.
