Advanced study of modern data systems and analytics pipelines. Topics include large-scale data storage and processing, data warehousing and lakehouse concepts, NoSQL systems, distributed computing fundamentals, ETL/ELT pipelines, and applied machine learning workflows in data-rich environments. Students design an end-to-end data solution from ingestion to analytics/modeling with attention to governance, privacy, and security.When Offered: Fall semester, odd-numbered years.
