SFN 210 - Criminalistics I (Forensic Science)2 Credit(s)
A study of the theory and practice of physical evidence analysis performed at the crime scene and in the crime lab. Topics will include physical evidence, crime scene documentation, evidence collection, packaging of evidence, chain of custody, bloodstain pattern analysis and enhancement, fingerprint enhancement and comparison, footwear and tire impression preservation and analysis, and document examination. When Offered: Fall semester. Prerequisite(s): SFN 105 , SCH 115 or SCH 140 . Corequisite(s): SFN 211 .
