A study of fundamental concepts in chemistry including chemical terminology, the periodic table, types of elements and compounds, and mathematics for chemistry. Emphasis is placed on developing problem-solving skills, particularly the use of dimensional analysis for stoichiometry. Designed for students with limited prior instruction in chemistry.
