This course examines critical concepts, methods, and challenges facing individuals and groups who aspire to bring peace to persons and groups whose lives are marked by violence. It offers a critical analysis of why it is that we spend little time and resources on exploration of peaceful alternatives to the use of power and domination through non-violence.
