SNU 310 - Pathophysiology and Pharmacology I (Nursing)3 Credit(s)
This course integrates pathophysiology and pharmacology for nursing practice. Students explore pharmacology principles including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacotherapeutics. Using the clinical judgment model, students apply scientific knowledge to support holistic safe medication administration and informed clinical decision-making for acute and chronic health conditions. Emphasis will also be placed on communication, systems and collaboration.
When Offered: Fall semester. Prerequisite(s): Required 200 level nursing courses with a minimum grade of B-. Corequisite(s): SNU 301 and SNU 302 .
