SNU 440 - Community/Global Population Health (Nursing)3 Credit(s)
This course focuses on the concepts related to population health. Students will complete community assessments, identify needs, and plan health promotion strategies. Topics will include local, national, and global discussions. This course includes clinical hours that will engage students in disease prevention/promotion of health and wellbeing, chronic disease care, and hospice/palliative/supportive spheres of care. When Offered: Spring semester. Prerequisite(s): Required 300 level nursing courses with a minimum grade of B-.
