Acute care/hospital experiential learning in the clinical phase of nutrition and dietetics practice. Competence development in design and application of medical nutrition therapy to meet clients’/patient’s needs, documentation, interviewing, and counseling. Provides students the opportunity to apply their knowledge of medical nutrition therapy to the practice of nutrition dietetics in the cute care setting.

When Offered: Spring semester.
Prerequisite(s): SNT 515 and SNT548.
