A college-level intensive language course emphasizing the development of communicative and writing skills in English. This is the second course in a 2-course sequence designed for non-native speakers of English to achieve proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Emphasis on advanced conversational and written skills. Proficiency is gained through the use of authentic materials and opportunities to interact with native speakers of English. Orients students to the US culture and the American higher education system.
