SED 232 - Soc Studies- Study in Latin America (Education)

Students will investigate similarities and differences between the education system in Latin America and the United States. Lesson planning, technology, and the use of curricular materials and for the teacher of elementary social studies is stressed. Instructional techniques for the teaching of history, geography, civics, and economics to diverse learners receive major focus. Inclusion strategies for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities are examined. Field experience and clearances are a required component.
