SDA 375 - Dance for the Camera (Dance)3 Credit(s)
This course is designed to explore filming, editing, and presenting dance on film through experiential practice. Students will be taken through a series of exercises focused on film angles, shots, locations, production elements, and genres of dance filmmaking. Students will learn technical details about ways to film, the process for presenting dance on camera, and examine movement and the lens through concept and expression. Students will learn basic editing skills. When Offered: Fall semester, even numbered years. Prerequisite(s): SDA 365 . Repeatable for credit. Fee.
