SSC 101 - Science Education Outreach: FSP (General Science)

In this course, students wil engage in hands-on learning and reflection. Students wil effectively connect theory to practice and use those skills to demonstrate science experiments in K-12 classrooms. Students will learn to acquire expertise by building a lesson plan of their choice using the scientific method, working closely with a faculty advisor, a K-12 teacher, and finally, receiving an evaluation at the end of the semester. Clearances and travel to local schools within Westmoreland County is required.
