Introduction, demonstration and application of the technology and art of lighting as an expressive medium of theatrical design. Students will explore technology, organization, and design skills; develop insight into the duties of lighting designers and practitioners through practical experience; and, strengthen their theatre and lighting vocabularies through projects and discussion.
