SMT 115 - Overview of Clinical Populations (Music Therapy)2 Credit(s)
This course provides an overview of the diverse populations served by music therapists across various clinical settings. Students will explore the unique needs, characteristics, and therapeutic approaches relevant to different client populations. Through a combination of theoretical study, case examples, experiential learning, and guest presentations, students will gain insight into the application of music therapy techniques and interventions for addressing the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals within these populations.
