Exploration of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice and their critical role in providing client-centered care. Emphasis on therapeutic use of self and professional communication. Includes exposure to social determinants of health, culture, faith, intersectionality, microaggressions and bias. Includes strategies to enhance health literacy. Skills include culturally relevant communication and application of health literacy strategies.
