SAT 540 - Group Process and Practice (Art Therapy)3 Credit(s)
Examines the theory, dynamics, development, and various models of group therapy in counseling and its application to art therapy approaches. Students will learn via didactic lectures and experiential group exercises. Skills developed include: understanding group dynamics, determining group needs, and designing group processes that meet the needs of a variety of client groups in different treatment settings. Must be completed with a grade of B- (2.67) or higher for continuation in the Art Therapy program. When Offered: Fall semester. Prerequisite(s): SAT 500 and SPY 520 . Fee
