Designed to service the non-piano music major and the non-music major. This course introduces students to basic piano skills through scales, chords, and elementary repertoire. Fall and spring semesters. Repeatable for credit. Counts toward the Artistic Expression requirement of the Liberal Arts Curriculum.

Pre/Corequisite(s): Non-music majors must demonstrate basic music reading knowledge or take SMU 127 as a pre- or co-requisite.
