SNU 101 - Introduction to Nursing Practice

Students examine the nursing profession from a caring perspective. This required foundation course will explore the historical background of nursing, the role of nursing as a profession and its relationship to healthcare systems and policies, standards of nursing practice, and how nursing impacts client health and wellbeing. Students will examine the roles and responsibilities of the professional nurse. Nursing majors only. Spring semester.
