SNU 615 - Economics & Fiscal Mngt in Health (Nursing)3 Credit(s)
This course prepares students to analyze and apply economic and fiscal management principles within complex health care systems. Students examine health care economics, financing structures, reimbursement models, and policy influences affecting care delivery and organizational performance. Emphasis is placed on budgeting, cost analysis, resource allocation, and financial decision-making to support efficient, sustainable systems. The clinical component provides structured opportunities to apply fiscal principles in practice settings, strengthening leadership and systems-based financial decision-making in advanced nursing roles.
