SNU 616 - Leveraging Technology & Interprof 4 Credit(s)
This course builds on ICT concepts from SNU 514 and applies informatics to clinical practice settings. Students participate in interprofessional activities, evaluate clinical information systems, and contribute to technology-supported quality improvement. Emphasis is placed on ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations and unintended effects on care and team functioning. Students develop evidence-based recommendations for technology selection, implementation, and evaluation, preparing them for leadership roles that use informatics to improve patient and population health outcomes. When Offered: Spring semester. Prerequisite(s): SNU 514 .
