SSL 105 - American Sign Language & Culture II (American Sign Language)3 Credit(s)
Intro to American Sign Language II continues to introduce learners to the unique characteristics of visual language. Learners will use signs, facial expressions, gestures and body language to communicate about authentic and relevant everyday topics. Explores elements of Deaf culture (both American and international) and understandings of ability/disability as learners communicate in new ways. When Offered: Spring semester. Prerequisite(s): SSL 100 . Fee. Liberal Arts Curriculum: Satisfies the Language Study requirement.
