SHL 216 - Human Anatomy & Physiology II (Health Science)3 Credit(s)
This course continues the study of the structure-function relationships within the human body across the cellular, tissue, organ, and organism levels of organization. Topics covered include: homeostasis, endocrine system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, renal system, reproductive system, regulatory mechanisms, and the integration across levels of organization and organ systems. Various pathologies will be compared to healthy anatomy and physiology. When Offered: Fall and spring semester. Prerequisite(s): SHL 214 with a C- or better; SHL 215 with a C- or better; or with instructor permission. Corequisite(s): SHL 217 or with instructor permission.
