SPT 661 - Clinical Reasoning 6 (Physical Therapy)4 Credit(s)
This course will expand on the clinical reasoning process involved for Physical Therapy with older adults, including clinical and medical history, relevant medical tests, and differential diagnosis. Concepts will include normal aging, deconditioning, osteoarthritis, joint replacements, autoimmune diseases, orthopedic injuries, osteoporosis, geriatric spine conditions, wounds, heart disease, neoplasms, lymphedema, and amputations. When Offered: Fall semester. Prerequisite(s): Corequisites: SPT 662, SPT 663, and SPT 664. Corequisite(s): SPT 662 , SPT 663 , and SPT 664 .
