SPT 663 - Physical Therapy Skills 6 (Physical Therapy)4 Credit(s)
This course will introduce students to patient management and the psychomotor skills necessary for geriatric physical therapy. Concepts will include rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, joint replacements, integumentary care, wounds, burns, lymphedema and management of neoplasm conditions. Students will learn the skills necessary to examine and treat common impairments related to geriatric conditions. When Offered: Fall semester. Prerequisite(s): SPT 655. Corequisite(s): SPT 661 , SPT 662 , and SPT 664 .
