SBL 250 - Vertebrate Physiology (Biology)3 Credit(s)
An intermediate-level study of the fundamental life processes of vertebrates. Topics include neuroendocrine regulation, sensory systems, respiration, circulation, fluid balance, digestion, and energy metabolism. Class time will include periodic discussions of readings from the primary scientific literature emphasizing vertebrate evolution. Prerequisites: SBL 152 and SBL 153 . Corequisite: SBL 251 . Spring semester.
