Study of the basic principles of genetics. Topics include the molecular basis of heredity, Mendelian and non-Mendelian inheritance, structure and function of chromosomes, and biotechnological applications. Prerequisites: SBL 150 and SBL 151 or SBL 152 and SBL 153. Corequisite: SBL 213. Spring semester.
