SDA 365 - Dance Composition I (Dance)

This course examines the elements of time, space, and design related to dance composition. Dances which demonstrate rhythmic skills and a comprehension of spatial design are created, performed, and critiqued. Assignments address choreographic structure, dynamics, and the development of movement material, as well as the articulation of ideas about choreography as an art. Prerequisite: SDA 139. Spring semester, even-numbered years.
