SED 208 - Characteristics and Strategies I (Education)3 Credit(s)
Examines the characteristics and causes of high incidence disabilities. Emphasis is placed on identification, learning needs, instructional strategies, programming, assessment practices, transition, research, and current practices. Field experience is a required component of this course. Tubercular check, Act 33 Child Abuse, Act 34 Criminal Record check, Act 114 FBI Federal Criminal History Record, and PDE-6004 (Arrest or Conviction Report and Certification Form) required. Prerequisite: SED 205 . Fall semester.
