SED 223 - Science and Health (Education)

This course includes the Pennsylvania Core Standards, trends, materials, state standards, and approaches for the teaching of science/health concepts and processes in elementary education. Active engagement in science/health experiments/presentations and procedures within a laboratory approach and inclusion strategies for students with physical disabilities are presented. Field experience is a required component of this course. Tubercular check, Act 33 Child Abuse, Act 34 Criminal Record check, Act 114 FBI Federal Criminal History Record, and PDE-6004 (Arrest or Conviction Report and Certification Form) required.
