Students develop critical thinking skills in composing, reading, and speaking through an examination of the relationship between culture and literacy, or the ways people use, learn, and value language. Passing SEL107 with a C- or higher satisfies the Writing component of the Liberal Arts Curriculum. Fall and spring semesters.
