Particular emphasis is placed on problem-solving strategies and the employment of electronic resources. The second course in a sequence of two mathematics courses designed for students who are pursuing teacher certification in areas other than secondary mathematics. Satisfies the Mathematics requirement of the Liberal Arts Curriculum Prerequisite: SMA 100. Fall and spring semesters.
