Examines causes, symptoms, assessments, and treatment of abnormality from a variety of theoretical perspectives. Includes an introduction to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V), its historical origins, and contemporary critiques. Prerequisite: SPY 110. Spring semester, and ADP session 1 in odd-numbered years.
