SPY 405 - Psychology of Sex and Gender (Psychology)

Examines both human sex (the biological identification as male/female) and gender (the social construct of feminine/masculine) from a psychological perspective. Emphasis on examining biological, psychological, and social factors that influence sex and gender similarities and differences in areas such as development, aggression, achievement, communication, relationships, employment, and physical and mental health. Prerequisite: SPY 110. Juniors and seniors only. Fall semester.
