Addresses literary trends within the field of Latin American literature. Reading selections include a variety of literary genres as well as critical texts. These contextualize issues such as identity, gender, social class, and race across different national communities. Taught in Spanish. Prerequisite: SSP 245. Spring semester, even-numbered years.
