Survey of the major theatrical and dramatic conventions, practices, theories, and traditions from the late nineteenth century to the present day. Students read plays from the period, engage in online and in-class discussions, play responses, and papers. Prerequisite: STR 110. Spring semester, odd-numbered years. Fee.
