STR 340 - Theatre Design: Costumes & Lighting (Theatre)

An introductory course designed to stimulate understanding and application of both the aesthetic and practical aspects of costumes and lighting as expressive media of theatrical design. The students learn technology, organization, and design skills and gain insight into the “duties” of designers through practical experiences while strengthening their design vocabulary through projects and discussion. Prerequisite: STR 215. Spring semester, odd-numbered years. Fee.
