An introduction to scientific measurement, chemistry lab techniques, and written communication. Experiments will complement the concepts discussed in lecture, addressing topics such as stoichiometry, aqueous chemical reactions, gas laws, chemical equilibrium, and thermochemistry. With SCH 140, satisfies the Science requirement of the Liberal Arts Curriculum. Corequisite: SCH 140. Fall and spring semesters. Fee.
