SSO 235 - Environment and Society (Sociology)

This course uses a systems perspective to analyze the interrelations between human societies and the environment. The focus is on explaining how these interactions contribute to problems such as resource depletion, changing weather conditions, hunger, and war around the world, and on emerging strategies to combat these problems.
