SSP 375 - Spanish Speaking World:Civilization (Spanish)

Examines the history and culture of contemporary Spanish speaking societies. The course analyzes the political, economic, social, and cultural development of the people who have populated Spain and Latin America from prehistoric and pre-Colombian times to the present. Taught in Spanish. 


Credits: 3.

When Offered: Spring semester, odd-numbered years.

Prerequisite:  SSP 245 , or minimum 3-4 years of high school Spanish (level to be approved by the instructor) or permission of instructor.

Satisfies the Language Study requirement of the Liberal Arts Curriculum.
