SNU 471 - Quality Health Care Delivery (Nursing)

Provides the background and history of quality care measurements and evolving focus on patient safety in the United States.  Provides an overview of the principles and tools of quality and safety in healthcare, and prepares students for effective collaboration and communication amongst the interprofessional team with the goal of quality, safe, patient-centered care.  Explores health inequities and constitutional bias related to the healthcare delivery system and how safety and quality are impacted in marginalized groups.
